Gluten Free Mtn Dew Cake

Have you noticed they stopped spelling out the "Mountain" in Mtn Dew?  Is the word too difficult?  Are the "cutting edge" people who drink mountain dew "too cool" for whole words, in texting style? Does Pepsi have something against vowels? Does it matter?

This cake is delicious. And not at all healthy. But, still, completely and totally decadent and delicious.  Or should that be dcdnt nd dlcs?

1 Kinnikinnick* white cake mix
1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
5/6 c canola oil
4 eggs, beaten
1 12 oz. can Mtn Dew

1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9 X 13 in. pan, or use muffin cup liners.
2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, oil, eggs, and pop (also called "soda" apparently). Mix all until moistened.

3. Pour into pan and bake. 30-35 minutes for 9 x13; 15-20 minutes for cupcakes.
4. Cool completely and frost - this is good with both lemon and cream cheese frosting.  The ducks on these cupcakes are candies from a school fundraiser.

*I think the Kinnikinnick cake and pancake mixes are AWESOME. Ridiculously expensive, yes, but also worth it. You can absolutely serve these cakes to anyone, gluten-free or not, and they are would never know the difference.
