Life with Three, Take... 4? Ish?

I struggle to find purpose on this blog. Is it a list of recipes? Is it about paying down debt? Or is it about me, and whatever happens to be on my mind in a given moment? Hm.

We've been a family of five now for eight months. I don't know how my baby got to be eight months old. Like everything in my life, it happened when I was busy doing other things. Because with three kids, five and under, I'm ALWAYS busy doing other things. And yet, somehow, nothing ever gets done.

But... every day is really, really good. Our house is never quiet, but our house is never lonely. Our house is never clean, but it is never empty. Our house is full of chaos, but also joy. At our house there are tears, every day, but just as much laughter. And this? Is everything I had hoped.

Hi~ I have been checking in on your blog since before you had your baby...and it inspires me. I am supposed to eat gluten-free...I try...and we are trying to get out of debt. It is refreshing to see a "normal" family doing the same thing. Maybe your blog doesn't have a "theme", like some, but it reflects your family...and I'm sure that you have touched many lives...not just mine. So, keep it up...I'll keep checking in.
Respectfully, Dana

What a beautiful life you have filled with the most important things. Although it may not feel like it, this phase will quickly pass and you’ll have teenagers than young adults in your life!

I've been Gluten Free for almost 17 years. My son was tested in 4th grade but followed my diet and was told he wasn't a Celiac. At 20 he was retested and found to have Celiac Disease.

I've been eating some amazing products for about 6 months. I live in Northern Colorado and our King Soopers recently began carrying Udi’s GF Cinnamon Rolls, Blueberry Muffins and White and Whole Grain Bread. It’s amazing stuff. I’ve been addicted to the muffins and have had one or two each morning for the last 4 months! When I braved it and tried the bread, I was really impressed because it tasted, smelled, held together and chewed like bread. One month ago, I called Udi’s (in Denver) and said I’d like to represent their GF products and let people know there was a fabulous option in the marketplace for GF baked goods. I started, in a position I’m creating, as the Gluten Free Product Ambassador two weeks ago!

This past Saturday the Celiac Spru Association in Denver hosted a GF Vendor Fair. I was so excited to share Udi’s products. I passed out samples of both GF breads, the new Pizza Crust, the Blueberry Muffins and the new Lemon Streusel Muffins. People were so excited to see Udi’s there. More than 100 families told me:

“Udi’s bread is the only bread my kids will eat”
“Udi’s is the only bread worth buying”

A papa with four kids said they always have it in the car in case someone gets hungry! It was so exciting to make a difference in people’s lives. I know Udi’s changed my world as I now eat muffins and sandwiches all the time.

I don’t yet know where you live but would love to help you find Udi’s products, if they are in your area. Just let me know how I can help!

"And this? Is everything I had hoped."

You summed it all up with your last line there. The smorgasboard of postings you provide give us a snapshot of your life & oftentimes reflect parts of our lives past, present or future.

I'm sure I speak for many when I say that your blog is a source of encouragement. Hopefully our comments encourage you as well.

Fight the good fight, finish the race, run in such a was as to win the prize... Blog on! And remember, if the PC is dragging you away from the family too much, take a break and spend more time with your family. We all need to recalibrate our schedules at times.
