I was secretly pregnant with my first baby when SuperDad's cousin Jeff said, during a summer visit in 2003, "This house is going to be filled with babies soon."  Boy was he right!  In 5 years our family went from having no little ones around to having 7 little noise makers filling up Grandma's kitchen.

Growing up, SuperDad always shared his birthday parties with his cousin Tracy, because their birthdays were so close together. We were thrilled to hear that Tracy and her husband Josh were expecting their first baby just around the time we were expecting Miss M.  Clayton was born just two weeks after Miss M, and has been the light of his parents' lives ever since.  He's the handsomest, sweetest, smileyest baby you ever saw.

And we were all devastated when he was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer at just eight months old.

To help pay for Clayton's treatments, and the travel back and forth to the hospital, SuperDad is putting on a fundraiser, and YOU'RE invited!

1) Visit the "auction blog" (http://forclayton.blogspot.com).  We have donations from local jewelry artist Lois Beckner, Court Street Lighting www.courtstreetlighting.net, Buzy Kidz, and Chris Heier Photography www.cmhphotoscape.com with the help of House of Glass and Chris DeMarce. And more artwork coming from Nick Fischer, Jake Bosmoe, and Jeanne and Marcus Murray.

Please consider entering a virtual bid by emailing me at tenille_mh at hotmail dot com before August 15th.  On August 15th, the silent auction moves to the Red Rooster Coffee House, so...

2) On August 15th join us at the Red Rooster Coffee House in Aberdeen.  It's $2.00 or free will donation at the door and you'll get to hear great live music from Will Brown, Leah Arnold, LeBoo The French Ghost, Sierra Dawn, ShubRock, and A Month of Sundays, plus we'll be doing some live art auctions between performances.

Let's help Clayton kick cancer's butt!  :)
