I know you're all wondering (or, uh, not), so how's the cat diet going? (I accidentally called our fatty cat "Whiggers" the other day, a name I enjoy so thoroughly, it's almost worth getting another cat for. Almost. So I'll just call the fatty "Whiggers" here. Because I can't use his real name! What if someone stalks him and tries to steal him from us? Yeah. Because where would they get their own CAT? They're so RARE.) So, ANYWAY, Whiggers started feeling better a few days into the diet. He was more active, moving better, and complaining much more. But. Now we've hit a brick wall, because he's lost enough weight that he can now jump up on the table (oh, our poor table) to reach the other cats' food. Sigh. Ideas?

I have a really fat cat too.. what kind of "diet" is Whiggers on? LOL
Bwaa-haa! Fat cat stalkers are *everywhere*.
Healthyfishies - we've really just tried to limit the amounts we're feeding him. But he's really a meanie about it - he'll really take down the other cats to get at their food. That's our struggle - we've always thought it is better to let him be fat than to let the others starve. :(
OH. MY. GOSH.... how funny is this? LOLOLOLOL... We "free feed" all of our tremendously overweight cats. I don't know to help them! I also have a "hairball" queen and a "queen throwup" both of whom keep our wood floors sparkling since we have to clean up throwup constantly. Cats are such fun creatures. I think they laugh at us all the time. We are such slaves to them!!
That's funny. Or maybe not. :)
No ideas, I'm not a cat person. You could catch it in the act and wring it's neck, but I suppose that wouldn't be nice... really, I'm an animal lover!!
Glad your kitty is feeling better on it's diet. Good luck!
