I had a similar set up with Fisher Price Stay in View carseats when I had my twins. It let me carry both carseats at once and still have an arm free to open doors without setting the carseats on the ground.

If the babies were asleep, I wasn't about to wake them before I got a nap! Otherwise I used an XL otsbh and just overlapped their feet.Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10088663308213812725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8064514075916057092.post-23620265950239197442008-09-15T20:44:00.000-05:002008-09-15T20:44:00.000-05:00Thank you for getting me out of the non-nursery cl...Thank you for getting me out of the non-nursery closet! Thank you for making it OK for me to admit that I didn't have a proper nursery for either of my boys.

It just seemed like such a waste of time/money/space until they were well into the walking/climbing stage of life.zdoodlebubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15827443812936944785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8064514075916057092.post-3432456502515474852008-09-14T07:27:00.000-05:002008-09-14T07:27:00.000-05:00What we did exactly, Amnesty! It worked great for us!Tenillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18064232873442152162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8064514075916057092.post-8948348741531072912008-09-14T02:13:00.000-05:002008-09-14T02:13:00.000-05:00My little guy is sleeping in his pack-n-play by ou...My little guy is sleeping in his pack-n-play by our bed right now :) He's going to outgrow the weight limit on the bassinet part too soon though. He's not even three months old and already about 17 lbs! So then he might just end up in our bed, because I'm not getting up to lift him in and out of the bottom part of the p-n-p, and no way am I going to move him to the crib in his sister's room yet!Amnestyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04476260199706597885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8064514075916057092.post-67834027915415028212008-09-10T17:51:00.000-05:002008-09-10T17:51:00.000-05:00I love that you didn't decorate a room for a baby ...I love that you didn't decorate a room for a baby who doesn't know what that's about! I'm not against it, but I love, LOVE, that you use the great pack-n-play thing. We must keep our babies at a distance at all costs!

The belly button thing reminds me of what they did when a baby had an umbilical hernia in the 1950s: they told the parents to duct-tape a penny over the navel. Seriously, there are photos of my big brother with the duct tape and the coin.Suburban Hippiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07226791853216934686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8064514075916057092.post-9032551200699742272008-09-09T14:18:00.000-05:002008-09-09T14:18:00.000-05:00Popper stoppers. She looks smiling and happy in the picture (the woman) but I can guarantee that is NOT a comfortable way to carry a carseat! How often are you lugging the thing so far you'd need a sling for it anyway? If you are going to carry the baby for that long, just take them in a real baby sling. They need to show that woman happily carrying TWINS with that setup! hehehuddtoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12861557092931070857noreply@blogger.com
