The news has been weighing on me lately.
My dependence on fuel, on my car, for commuting to my job, for other luxuries, has been weighing heavily on my heart.
And so, today I rode my bike to work. I understand it's a little thing, and it certainly doesn't save very much in gas, as I only live about a mile from work. But if everyone that could ride their bike to work, did ride their bike to work... well, wouldn't that just be nice?
And also, my bike? It's fabulous. It's periwinkle! And even though it's about 5 years old, for some reason it's still in pristine condition.

That's not a little thing -- that's huge! If not in terms of actual impact, it is huge in terms of lifestyle. Huge.
